What are Glif Credits? 🪙
Credits are the currency on Glif. You need them to run workflows (glifs) and generate images, texts, audio, and more using AI models. Using credits also helps fund Glif's development, allowing them to offer you even more powerful tools in the future!
How Credits Work: The Basics
Daily Free Credits ✨
Every Glif user automatically receives 10 FREE credits per day! These reset daily at midnight UTC. You can use these credits to run any glifs, though different glifs may cost varying amounts of credits depending on the AI models used.

Need more power for your ideas? You can purchase credit packages:

Why Do Executions Cost Credits? 🤔
Usage in Builder: Running glifs while creating or testing in the editor also consumes credits. This is because Glif incurs costs for every AI generation, regardless of where it occurs.
Variable Costs: More complex glifs consume more credits. Costs depend on factors such as:
The AI models used (e.g., Flux Pro is more expensive than Flux Schnell).
The number of blocks or steps in the glif workflow.
Tip: To see which models a glif uses, click on the three dots (...) and select "View Source".
Failed Executions: Don't worry! If an execution fails, your credits will be automatically refunded. If you believe something is wrong, contact contact@glif.xyz.
Additional Credit Information
Commercial Use: All content generated with PAID credits can be used commercially.
Gifting Credits: Currently, it's not possible to gift credits to other users.

How to do it:
Create your very first glif on glif.app. It doesn't have to be complicated!
Click "Publish" on your glif to make it public.
Navigate to your glif and copy the URL.
Go to the
#share-your-glifsDiscord channel.Post the URL to your glif and write a brief description of what your glif does.
Example: "Here's my first glif! It takes a text input and creates an abstract image from it: [Your Glif Link]"
Submit the link to your post in the
#quests-submissionschannel.
Tip: Even simple glifs with just a few blocks count!
📣 FEEDBACK QUEST (Easy)
Reward: 50 Credits!
Difficulty: Easy
How to do it:
Go to the
#general-chatDiscord channel.Share your feedback about Glif. What do you wish for? Which AI models are you missing? Are there features you'd like to see?
Example: "I wish there was a model for [specific type of image/audio] soon." or "A feature for organizing my glifs would be great!"

📸 INSTAGRAM TAGGING (Easy)
Reward: 100 Credits! (Redeemable up to 2 times)
Difficulty: Easy
How to do it:
Create a post or story on Instagram.
Show a glif you're using (e.g., a generated image) or tell how you're using Glif.
IMPORTANT: Tag the official Glif account @heyglif in your post or story.
Take a screenshot or copy the link to your Instagram post/story.
Submit the link or screenshot in the
#quests-submissionschannel.
🎬 WAN VIDEO QUEST (Medium)
Reward: 200 Credits!
Difficulty: Medium
How to do it:
Create a new glif or edit an existing one to include a workflow with the "Wan Video" model (this model is for video generation).
Click "Publish" on your glif to make it public.
Navigate to your glif and copy the URL.
Ensure the glif works and generates a video.
Share your glif (via the "Share" link) in the
#share-your-glifsDiscord channel.Briefly explain what your video glif does.
Submit the link to your post in the
#quests-submissionschannel.
How to Claim Your Quest Rewards:
After completing a quest, ALWAYS go to the #quests-submissions channel on Discord and post the following information:
Quest Name (e.g., "Newcomer Quest")
Relevant Link (link to your Discord message, shared glif, Instagram post, etc.)
Brief Description (confirmation that you completed the quest)
Your Glif Profile Link (so the Glif Team can provide you with the credits)
Credits are usually credited within 24 hours after your submission.
