LearnGlif Tutorial: Creating a Credit-Friendly Black & White Image Generator

1. Creating a New Glif

Step 1: Create a New Glif
Begin by creating a new Glif project.

  • Think of a name and a description for your Glif. This helps in identifying your project later.

2. Adding a Text Input Block

Step 2: Add a Text Input Block

  • This block allows the user to enter a prompt, which we will later use to generate the image.

  • You can rename this block to whatever you like. The block’s name is important because other blocks can refer to it later.

  • Additionally, you can set a label to guide the user on what to enter.

3. Adding an Image Generator Block

Step 3: Add an Image Generator Block

  • Next, add an Image Generator Block. You can also rename this block as you prefer.

  • Inside the Image Generator Block, select your PROMPT block (this will be highlighted in green).

  • You can also choose a model; I recommend using FLUX Schnell. Although the results might not always be perfect, the generation process costs very few credits.

Since this tutorial is designed for beginners, we will keep it very simple. Under the "describe the image" section (where you selected the PROMPT), add the text "black and white".

4. Running Your Glif

Step 4: Run Your Glif

  • On the right side of the interface, enter your desired prompt.

  • Click "RUN THIS GLIF" to execute your project.

  • The resulting output should look similar to what you expected based on your configurations.

This concludes our tutorial on how to build a credit-friendly, black & white image generator using Glif blocks. Experiment with different configurations and prompts to see how versatile your Glifs can be. Enjoy building your unique Glif creations!
